Have Your Kids Outgrown Their Swim Stuff? So Have Ours!
Kids grow like weeds—and somehow outgrow their swim gear the moment you buy it. If you’re like us, you hate getting rid of perfectly good swimsuits, goggles, and gear.
That’s why we’re organizing a community swim swap! Later this summer we’ll bring all donated items to the pool and invite members to browse and take what they can use.
We will have a collection bin at the pool, as well as locations in Bannockburn neighborhood and Wood Acres. A huge thank you to Khara and Juliette for hosting and helping to organize.

Swim Team Schedule
Please note the following pool closures:
- June 10: Home Swim Meet — Pool closes at 5:00 PM
- June 20: Swim Meet — Pool closed 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Bikes & Scooters
For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, we ask that bicycles, scooters, and similar wheeled recreational items not be brought into the new breezeway or onto the pool deck.
These items can create tripping hazards, obstruct emergency access, and increase the risk of injuries in a busy, wet environment.
Please use the designated bike racks before entering the breezeway.
Essential mobility devices, including wheelchairs and medically necessary aids, are always permitted.
Thank you for helping keep our facilities safe and accessible for everyone.
Tips & Tricks
Lap Lane Etiquette: Sharing Is Caring
Lap lanes are a shared community treasure—please help keep them swimmer-friendly.
- All lap swimmers, including Early Bird swimmers, must share lanes.
- Two swimmers: Agree on a plan—either split the lane or circle swim.
- Three or more swimmers: Circle swimming is required.
- Private swim lessons may use an available lap lane, but lap swimmers have priority and may politely request that lessons move to open water.
A little kindness and communication at the wall goes a long way!

Swim team season means a busier pool, but there are still plenty of opportunities to get your laps in.

Essentials
Safety on the Streets & in the Parking Lot
Please remember that the speed limit throughout Bannockburn is 20 MPH.
We have asked lifeguards to park on Laverock Lane and East Halbert this year to preserve parking spaces for families with young children and members with mobility concerns.
If you park outside the pool lot, please be respectful of neighbors’ driveways, trash cans, and personal property.
