We Elect… to Go to the Pool!
School is out for summer and it’s Election Day on Tuesday in Maryland—but no matter who you vote for, the Bannockburn Pool is always a winning choice.
Be sure to check the pool calendar on our website for the latest information on swim meets, food trucks, and social events.
One quick announcement—please make sure your family and guests know the emergency exit gates are just for emergencies. They are not intended to be used for routine entrances or exits (particularly over by the basketball court).
And a very Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, and father figures in our Bannockburn community!
Don’t forget to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for updates between newsletters.

Lost & Found — Yeesh!
Our lost and found is already overflowing.
On June 30, all unclaimed items will either be added to the swim gear swap or donated.
Please take a few minutes to check for missing items—even if you don’t think you’ve lost anything.
Last season we donated, among other things, more than 75 towels.
Please don’t let yours suffer the same fate.
The lost and found is located at the back of the pavilion.

And speaking of…
We’re still collecting gear for the Swim Swap!

Safety Reminders
No Glass. Ever.
A friendly but important reminder: glass containers are not permitted anywhere on pool property.
This includes:
- Beer bottles
- Wine bottles
- Glass food containers
- Any other glass items
Because so many members walk barefoot around the pool deck, broken glass presents a serious safety risk.
Members and guests who bring glass onto pool property will be asked to dispose of it immediately or leave it with pool staff until they depart.
Thank you for helping keep everyone safe.
Emergency Exit Gates
Please remember that the emergency exit gates are exactly that—emergency exits.
These gates are intended for emergency use or for access specifically authorized by the Pool Manager. They should not be used as a routine entrance or exit to the facility.
Keeping these gates secure helps maintain member safety and ensures clear access routes when emergencies occur.
