Opening Day News! And A First Look at the New Bannockburn Bathhouse!

We’re thrilled to announce that the pool is now open!!!

Our outstanding contractor, Camson Construction, along with Lighthouse Pool Management, have been working incredibly hard to get us ready, and we’re happy to report that the building passed both Health Department and Building Department inspections over the past few days.

While the pool is safe and ready to open, the bathhouse renovation itself is not yet fully complete, and we ask for your patience and flexibility as the final details are finished over the coming days and we finalize punchlist items.

The main remaining items include:

  • Installation of facility wide WiFi
  • Installation of the overhead entry doors
  • Installation of glass to the trophy case
  • Completion of the guard station and pantry
  • Installation of doors for the guard station, pantry, and storage areas
  • Replacement of some temporary lighting fixtures
  • Installation of changing tables
  • Returning furniture and equipment to their permanent locations
  • There are likely other small items not mentioned here, but rest assured these items are being addressed

We are enormously grateful to everyone who has worked so hard to make this project happen, and we truly hope you love this reinvention of our beloved bathhouse as much as we do.

Thank you for your patience, support, and excitement throughout this process. We cannot wait to welcome you back for Bannockburn’s 70th season!

Guest Fees

  • Weekday (Monday – Friday) Guest Fees: $5 for all ages
  • Weekend and Holiday Guest Fees: $10 for all ages

No guests are permitted during Early Bird Swim. This includes Merrimack reciprocity members.

The Board considers it an abuse of guest privileges and a violation of the rules:

  • If a member repeatedly brings, as a guest, a person who could reasonably be expected to be an active member.  This includes repeatedly bringing family members, such as the adult children of members (and their families), who live at a different address from the member.
  • If a member brings, as a guest, an Inactive Permanent Member (except in the case of an inactive member living outside the D.C. area, who is in town temporarily or for a brief portion of the pool season).

To minimize pool overcrowding, members planning to bring more than ten (10) guests must email [email protected] and request a reservation.
